The induction ceremony of the 4th President of the College, Dr. Ranga Perera, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, was held on 26th October 2024 at the Hilton Colombo Residencies. Dr. Palitha Maheepala, Secretary to the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka, was the Chief Guest of the event, while Dr. Asela Gunawardena, Director General of Health Services, Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka, was the Guest of Honour. In addition, the event was graced by Prof. Jayantha Balawardena, Chancellor of the Uva Wellassa University, and Rear Admiral Dhammika Kumara, Vice Chancellor of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. Furthermore, several other senior officials of the Ministry of Health, presidents of other professional colleges, members of the College, and representatives from partner agencies were also among the attendees.
