Lifestyle Interventions in Palliative Care – Live Webinar by Dr Azyan Shafeek
The College of Palliative Medicine Sri Lanka successfully organized an insightful live webinar on “Lifestyle Interventions in Palliative Care” on 28 May at 8.30 PM via Zoom.
The session was conducted by Dr Azyan Shafeek, Lecturer in the Palliative Care Fellowship Programme at the Institute of Palliative Care, India, and a Wellness Coach. The webinar focused on the importance of healthy lifestyle practices in improving the quality of life of patients receiving palliative care.
During the session, participants gained valuable knowledge on lifestyle-based approaches including nutrition, physical activity, emotional wellbeing, and holistic patient support. The discussion highlighted how lifestyle interventions can positively contribute to symptom management, patient comfort, and overall wellbeing in palliative care settings.
